The Laser Therapy treatments will help to:
- Suppress your appetite allowing you to feel full with a lot less food.
- Control your hunger cravings so that you are not craving food all day long.

- Stimulate the release of endorphins so that you will feel relaxed and calm.
Step #1: The Assessment
An assessment is done to determine which set of protocols to use:
- Hormone Imbalance resulting in weight gain
- Emotional – Personality eating problems
- Liver Dysfunction resulting in weight gain
- General weight loss
Step #2: The Laser Treatments
A non-invasive, low level (cold) laser is used to stimulate acupuncture points on the ears, nose, hands, wrists, feet and lower parts of the legs. The first appointments are set up for 1.5 hour. The number of Laser Therapy treatments necessary depends on the patient’s goals for losing weight, the speed at which they want to lose it, and their commitment to keeping the weight off. If the overeating is severe, a treatment every day for the first five days is appropriate and can then taper off the second week to every other day and the third week to every three days.
For the average patient who wants to lose between 5 to 10 pounds, 1 treatment every 2-3 days or twice a week until they reach their goal is appropriate, and then a booster treatment once every 2 weeks is optimal. After a few booster treatments, the patient and practitioner will mutually decide when to terminate frequent treatments and then can aim to meet approximately 4 times a year at the change of seasons when energy levels are unstable and tonification and harmonizing of one’s system is appropriate for everyone.
The appetite reduction from each session should carry the patient through to the next session. The idea is to build the metabolism, boosting it in increments with each treatment session.

We could put you on a diet, but that does not cause you to make any lifestyle changes. We all know that diets don’t work. Anyone can restrict food intake to cause you to lose weight, but when the diet is over, your metabolism is slower and you would slowly revert back to your same old habits and the weight will come back on – sometimes even more than you were before the diet.
