What is Triniti™ Skin Series
The complete skin program for immediate, visible and long lasting results, the Triniti™ Skin Series Treatment is an effective 3-part facial treatment program that uses the latest in cosmetic technology to improve skin color, tighten skin and resurface skin (remove surface imperfections) all in a single session! Because the Triniti™ Skin Series Treatment is performed sequentially in three steps, color correction, skin tightening and focused dermal remodeling can all be done in a single session.
Triniti combines FotoFacial RF® Color Correction, Refirme™ Skin Tightening, and Matrix IR™ Fractional for Wrinkles to simultaneously remove surface imperfections, improve overall skin tone and texture, and eliminate wrinkles and loose skin.
The Triniti Series is performed in 3 parts, with one treatment being performed at each session. This gives patients' skin an opportunity to calm down and heal between procedures—it gives patients the opportunity to experience greatly improved skin tone, quality and texture after just 3 treatment sessions!
How is Triniti™ Skin Series Different?
The Triniti™ Skin Series Treatment uses the eMaxTM multi-application platform by Syneron to sequentially treat for color correction, skin tightening and wrinkle and loose skin improvement all in one visit.
At Nulife Laser & Wellness Clinic, we exclusively use the FDA approved Syneron eMax Laser. The eMax laser, powered by elōs technology as described above, overcomes the limitations of IPL and conventional lasers by simultaneously harnessing the power of both bi-polar radio frequency (RF) and optical energy (either laser or light). By combining laser wellness therapy with RF therapy, this cutting-edge laser hair removal technology enables use of light energy at a level that is safe for all skin types while setting new standards in safety and efficacy- chilled contact cooling of the sapphire treatment tip helps direct RF energy deeper into the dermis (maximizes efficacy) and away from the epidermis (maximizes safety).
Triniti™ Skin Series Treatment Preparation
Prior to your Triniti™ Skin Series Treatment beginning, a free consultation will be scheduled to review your medical history, discuss the risks and benefits of what Triniti™ Skin Series Treatment can and cannot do for you and outline a treatment plan and costs. Be sure to inform the Nulife Laser & Wellness Clinic Medical Practitioner performing the consultation if you have a tendency to scar, have ever had a raised scar (keloid), a history of cold sores or genital herpes, any blood-clotting problems, an infectious disease such as HIV or hepatitis, unusual or prolonged wound healing, taken isotrtinoin (a medication used to treat severe acne), or any cosmetic procedures you’ve had done, especially dermal fillers, a surgical facelift or eyelid lift.
During the consultation, your Nulife Laser & Wellness Clinic Medical Practitioner will closely examine your skin. Between the consultation and your treatments, it is important to protect your skin from the sun and avoid tanning. Laser skin rejuvenation cannot be performed on tan or sunburned skin. If the Nulife Laser & Wellness Clinic Medical Practitioner feels that your skin is too tanned or sunburned to proceed, your treatment will be rescheduled.
Prior to treatment:
- Avoid skin irritation or tanning prior to treatment. Always use sunscreen when outdoors during daylight.
- Discontinue any irritant topical agent for 2-3 days prior to treatment.
- Arrive treatment with clean skin – no lotion; make up, perfume, powder, bath oil, etc.
- Advice medical practitioner if there are any dental crowns, caps, braces, or other metal dental implants. These areas may be sensitive and the medical practitioner would take the appropriate steps to make the treatment comfortable.
The Medical Practitioner at Nulife Laser & Wellness Clinic will give you post-treatment instructions.
- Protect area with SPF 30 or higher sunblock.
- Avoid tanning for several days following treatment.
- Some redness and swelling may occur. In those cases cold compresses may be used to reduce the symptoms.
- Wash area gently and avoid harsh and/or abrasive products for three days.
- Do not expose the area to excess heat for three days
Post Triniti™ Skin Series Treatment Guidelines
You may notice some redness and swelling for the first few hours after your Triniti™ Skin Series Treatment procedure, but the treatment generally does not require downtime. You may have a very small visible wound due to the Matrix IR treatment. The treated skin will likely be red and swollen for a few hours. A stinging sensation may linger for a day or two. But you can return to normal activities as long as the activities do not require any physical exertion for 24 hours.
Triniti™ Skin Series Treatment Process
When you arrive at Nulife Laser & Wellness Clinic for your Triniti™ Skin Series Treatment, before each treatment, you will be asked several short questions about your sun exposure, health status, medication changes, previous treatments (particularly any adverse reactions) and upcoming events. Although this may seem repetitive, it is necessary to make sure nothing has changed that would cause an unsafe or ineffective treatment. Arrive to the treatment with clean skin – no lotion; make up, perfume, powder, bath oil, etc.
A topical anesthetic may be applied to your skin to reduce any discomfort during treatment, especially if the area being treated is very sensitive or large. You will be fitted with special goggles to protect your eyes from the laser beam. Laser treatment to a test site within the area will be applied to screen for any adverse reactions.
Step 1: Renew™
FotoFacial RF for Color Correction
During the procedure the Nulife Laser & Wellness Clinic Medical Practitioner will first press the FDA approved Syneron eMax hand-held laser & RF color correction applicator to your skin. The chilled tip of the Syneron eMax laser & RF color correction applicator and a cool gel applied to the treatment area will be used to protect your skin.
Some people say this feels as if a rubber band is being snapped against the skin. Each pulse of the laser covers an area approximately the size a quarter. Sun spots, telangiestasia, rosacea and poikiloderma will diminish for more even skin tone.
Step 2: ReFirme™
Refirme Skin Treatment
Next, your Nulife Laser & Wellness Clinic Medical Practitioner will apply the ReFirme Skin Tightening applicator to your face. The Matrix diode laser pre-heats the target skin, and energy is delivered deep in the dermis. The intense heat from the laser beam damages the collagen, prompting the body to respond by creating new collagen.
All while protecting the epidermis, or outer layer of skin. You may feel a stinging sensation; many patients describe the laser pulses as warm pinpricks or a rubber band being snapped against the skin. Immediately collagen fibers within the dermis contract, but with time, the laxity of the jowls, brow, cheek and neck will continue to improve due to the continuing production of new collagen.
Step 3: Matrix IR™
Matrix IR Focused Remodeling
In the last step of the Triniti™ Skin Series Treatment, placing the Matrix IR applicator to your face and applying treatment will achieve wrinkle reduction. Matrix IR treatment penetrates the outer layers of the dermis, treating the lower layers of your skin. This treatment spurs the production of new collagen, which in turn smooth’s away fine lines and wrinkles.
Treatment typically takes anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour depends on the size of the treated area.
